RFID enabled inline crate registration system for the Delhaize New Fresh operation at Euro Pool System

Project description: Implementation of a registration system (hard- and software) for inbound registration (crates on dollies), quality control (single crates), and outbound registration (crates on pallets) with the help of RFID, barcode and vision technology. The registration hardware fully integrated in an automated washing installation with the capacity of approximately 100,000 crates/day. Highly critical system (availability and performance) as being operational 24/6 and providing critical data for EPS’s invoicing system towards Delhaize (user fee and deposit money). The system is live since Sept 2009 and currently still in maintenance and supported by Mieloo & Alexander.
