Zebra FX9600 – RFID-Reader

The Zebra FX9600 RFID reader is THE latest RFID flagship of the world market leader. The successor of the very successful FX9500 has been greatly improved in many details.

The FX9600 has once again significantly improved its reading performance and now offers a market-leading sensitivity of -86dBm (compared to -84.5dBm for the predecessor FX9500). The increased performance means transponders can be read faster, more frequently and more securely overall.

A faster processor and larger memory enable read rates of over 1,200 tags/second. The maximum output power of the Zebra FX9600 is +33dBm (2Watt).

Besides the power supply via a power supply unit, the Zebra FX9600 can also be operated via Power over Ethernet (PoE) at full reading performance. A separate power supply does not necessarily have to be guaranteed.

With Zebras FX9600 it is now also possible to install applications directly on the RFID reader. Thus, for example, data can already be evaluated on the RFID reader, intelligently filtered and “aggregated” and forwarded to the leading system.

Just like its predecessor, the FX9600 reader is also available with eight ports in addition to the 4-port version (four antenna connectors), making the Zerba FX9600 one of the most variable RFID readers for various applications for one or more reading points. Therefore, the FX9600 is the first choice especially for the equipment of RFID gates in various logistic recording processes. In addition, the additional antenna connections enable greater flexibility in RFID installation and reduce its costs, in some cases considerably.

The RFID reader Zebra FX9600 is also more attractive than its predecessor in terms of price. Thus, in addition to the described performance and functionality increases, the price of the reader could also be reduced.

Besides the European ETSI and the American FCC certification, the Zebra FX9600 is approved in almost all countries and regions worldwide, which makes it the ideal hardware for international RFID projects.
